The old mill and our family-owned oil-mill are located in the place where the Etruscans built their first settlements right at the foot of the hill of Cortona. The mill was built where in the early 16th century stood the church of Santa Lucia by the noble Cortonese Venuti family.
The place was probably picked for the refreshing air provided by the nearby running Loreto stream, the natural engine of the old mill built in the remote Anno Domini 1486.
